Sitka Exclusive: Jarryd Jäger interviews Emily Lowan

Jarryd sat down with BC Green Leader Emily Lowan to discuss growing concerns over foreign billionaires purchasing farmland in BC. What risks does the party see for food security and local farmers? And what changes are they calling on the province to make?

Premier David Eby's approval rating has fallen to a historic low, according to a new Angus Reid poll. Just 31% of British Columbians approve of his performance, while 61% disapprove — the worst numbers of his premiership to date.

The survey also found growing dissatisfaction among former BC NDP voters, with concerns over affordability, health care, and recent Indigenous title issues contributing to the decline. The results raise fresh questions about the government's standing as it approaches the midway point of its mandate.
