VANCOUVER — Kerry-Lynne Findlay is still the leader of the BC Conservatives following an emergency caucus meeting.
A number of MLAs spoke to Sitka Media and Global News, but did not confirm nor deny whether Findlay was asked to step down.

MLA Heather Maahs confirmed that Findlay had "absolutely" not stepped down, describing the meeting as "absolutely fantastic."
"Always will be," MLA Anna Kindey added. "She's gonna win!"

When asked whether Findlay had been asked to step aside, MLA Lynn Block said, "you'll have to ask her."

Clearly, she did not.
CHEK News' Rob Shaw reported that two MLAs did make the request, though their identities have not been revealed.
The leader is scheduled to address attendees at the Union of BC Municipalities convention in Vancouver Thursday morning. A media scrum will follow.
